Er, American doesn't ever forget that - and only those with paid or award (miles-paid) tix - not upgraded, opped up, beamed into the seat, etc. in the pointy end of the 762 get lounge access, and also regardless of AAdvantage status.

OTOH, an AC membership is a very useful thing, year 'round.
