and finally, just because the airline is owned by few with deep pockets, it does not mean they are happy if they are loosing a mil or 2 a day..... no matter how deep your pockets are, the ride stops as soon as you don't see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Not only the fare level, but I think that the business plan was reported to be based on about 70% LF breakeven, and reports in another PPlace suggest that they may only be doing about 50% even with these lowered fares.

IME, those who have made megabucks have made them by knowing, amongst other things, when to call a halt to things that are not working.

But my scepticism may all prove to be unfounded ...
