I think the following are nice hotels in Seattle:

Sorrento Hotel
Alexis
Inn at the Market
Grand Hyatt
Woodmark Hotel (Kirkland though)

The Fairmont is nice but I would not consider the W to be "luxury". The staff is very nice, but the hotel is dark and amenities are lacking imo.
