Isn't BHX Birmingham? That's an odd routing. You might get lucky because it's non-Schengen, but my LHR flights have been "upstairs" in A. UA flights arrive in C or B, so you could hope for a non-Schengen B gate.
If the BHX flight departs from A upstairs, it's quite fast to reach there from B or C using the skytrain.
my Jan flights FRA-LHR were departing from B30 or B31.
