Generally I would say it is enough time, but it can get sketchy sometimes. Today connecting through FRA was no problem, no lines longer than 3 minutes at any of the checkpoints (I was lounge hoping and flew in on another non-Star airline so I also did the external one as well).

But, in the past I've been dang close to missing a flight with only an hour connection when the security lines get long. Usually though waving your ticket for a nearly departing aircraft and acting like a crazy-person will get them to allow you to cut to the front of the line. Not like I've done that or anything.
