Just an update. I tried calling up 1P service desk. They gave me the online booking bonus, but won't budge on the west coast bonus. The even had a service director look into it, and also told me they saw it had been denied in an email that I sent them about it. I looked on my email I got from UA when I booked it. It's got my PNR and flight info but no eticket receipt.

SFO1K: I know it says connecting traffic does not qualify, but understood that to mean if I was flying somewhere and had a connection in a west coast city, it wouldn't qualify as it had to be either origin or destination.

Has anyone done a MR and been told its not a round trip???
