Nothing, and if one keeps the shutters open longer than just for taking a glimpse, the flight attendants will probably come and ask if you'd be so kind to shut it. This has happened to me several times as I'm usually a bad sleeper onboard and sometimes take a look at the night sky. Sometimes they seem to run from somewhere as soon as I've got the shutter open.
But as someone already mentioned, A/K have superb storage space compared to the middle seats so that alone makes them preferable at least for me.
