Well, my searches started working again after I posted, but searching didn't yield any consensus on the matter at hand.

So, I downloaded the WP member's guide, in which the most relevant text is: "Standard: A Saturday night stay is required in the Continental US / Canada region."

I'm assuming they wouldn't use the "US/Canada" qualifier if the Sat stay wasn't an issue in other markets. Can anyone clarify?
