1A/K are typically reserved for VIPs and BA Exec Gold, while row 2 is ideal for solo-travellers given the quiet. The cupboard/closet will be an irritant only if you are in row 1.

Since you've sat in 4E/F, you've already experienced the privacy and intimacy that row offers when travelling as a couple.
