In case it hasn't been said already, you can spend you QF FF points on AA flights whether or not you have an AA number. So the fact that you're now an AA member as well makes no difference to the fact that you can do it. And as they will be award tickets, you won't earn anything in either QF or AA when you fly on the award tickets.
