This is NOT the new revive bedding. This is the old bedding and I could not agree with you more regarding your assessment of the foam bedding; but representing it as the new revive bedding is just plain wrong.

The new revive bedding varies. The Renaissance Montura (LAX) has the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a hotel. Firm pillow top mattresses. Similar to what I have at home. Firmness to support varying weights of customers, and pillow top which provides the softness without the sag of a plush mattress. Definitely a notch above Westin's heavenly bed IMO.

The Vail Marriott just received new revive bedding while I was staying there in January and they are nice medium to firm mattresses with new mattress pads. Not as nice as the Renaissance Montura, but much better than the ones they replaced. A notch just below Westin's heavenly bed IMO.
