I am flying international on Qantas from the US, but my tickets were free as award tix from Aadvantage points. I'll have to call Qantas US to see if I qualify, how much it costs, and how to work it. US fresidents may not be able to buy it or people on award tix. I was checking the cost of the segments I need and the Cairns-Uluru flight on some the of the days I may fly are already sold out at the lowest price 9 months in advance. Yikes-must be a popular place or Qantas has a monopoly on those flights. I may skip going to Uluru if it's too expensive/difficult to get there.
