I'm thinking if mom & kid are going to sit in F anyway by virtue of dad swapping seats with baby, bringing dad up to join the family during the flight will double the opportunities to stop any preventable disruptions from baby. This arrangement is likely the best bet for the other F pax, short of banning kids in the nose.

The debate over kids in CRC or F is in separate threads. Spare me the flames, I'm pro-kids in CRC & F, and pro-enforcement of courteous behavior by everyone in both.
