Why? A friend of mine was told by a TA late Sunday evening it was cancelled due to the NYC snow storm. He then put forth much effort to get onto another flight. And because of the backup of passengers from Sat and Sun cancellations, he did not get on another flight until Tuesday am. He lost a day of vacation and had to fly via Houston.
I understand all flights from Florida were not cancelled Monday morning. I have a feeling the TA spoke off the top of her head on Sunday eve..his seat was taken by another stranded passenger...he was delayed.
