I'll look into the boomerang pass. Do I buy it here in the US before leaving? Could I wait to reserve the actual flights once I get there?
If I could buy those 3 flights for AU$500 that would be acceptable. Here in the US one way flights are so expensive most people buy RT and throw away the unused half. It's cheaper to do it that way.
