American Bar Association Hotel Program

For the lawyers out there, don't forget about the Preferred Rate Hotel Program with the ABA. You can get some really great deals. I just booked three nights at The Mark(Mandarin Oriental Hotel) in a Deluxe King for $295.00. The room usually goes for over $600.00. Also, one time a few years back, I got the ABA rate at the NY Palace on New Year's Eve for around $250.00....and this is when the Best Western was charging over $300.00! Only an ABA membership is required, whether or not the trip is business or pleasure. Interestingly, the rate is often available at difficult timeswhen good rates are rare, such as holidays and weekends when business trips for attorneys are less likely.

You can check out the whole list of participating luxury hotels the ABA website.
