My current PPS Membership (Yr 4) expires in March 06, and it is certain that I won't hit another 25 segments by then. That's due to a change in my travel patterns last year - from April through late November, I had 0 PPS segment, because I was in between jobs (though flying intermittedly on Y). Since late November I've already accumulated 13.75 segments (if this had happened a just 2 months earlier, I would have requalified on the averaging rule) and am quite sure 25 segments can be met by June.

However, this means 3 months of being just KF Silver (horrors!). I am thinking of writing into PPS Membership to see if they can give me a discretianory 3 month extension on my current membership. Anyone had luck with this before, or is it just a futile attempt?
