Actually, if it's treated separately, that's an argument that it should offer awards.

I assumed that the logic was "It's really part of the Waldorf, which does offer awards, and we don't offer upgrade awards as a part of the program."

The Ali'i Tower at HHV is the same way. No award options for a room there, and even Diamonds don't typically get upgraded into that tower on award stays.

There are probably other examples.
