I fly WN probably 20-30 segments a year since they effectively own the Bay Area-SoCal corridor these days. I'd say the number of "bad eggs" I've encountered is just a handful. In recent times, I have yet to travel on an AA plane that was as nice and clean as a Southwest plane.
And overall, as an airline, they definitely are service oriented. And for $200 for a fully flexible/changeable/refundable round trip (with lots of frequency) up and down the coast, you can't beat them.
Oh, and did I mention MRTC?
