I think this will be a common theme this year, with people cancelling their accounts en masse.

I noticed that the Wikipedia entry has been updated:

Uli - I think it sounds like you were obviously a good customer of AmEx in Germany, and I hope you made it really clear with them why you are cancelling your card.
