I was on the first ATL-BOS flight this morning. I did not clear for first, so I had to check my roller bag (I was on a full fare, and number one on the upgrade list.... but that is another topic... to be posted soon).

Anyway, when I got down to baggage claim, there were around a 100 bags from Atlanta that had gotten there the night before. A lot of the paxs on my plane were picking these bags up.

Why do I have to wait an extra 30 minutes a flight as they pull off the bags of someone who is not on board when other flights are apparently immune.

Definitely no weather issues in Atlanta, so does anyone have any idea how this happened?
