If I recall, you can't even get the exit row 'upgrade' on a CRJ. I haven't flown one in a while and definitely not a SkyWest CRJ but Comair did not build in any extra maneuvering space (spelled -leg room-) into their exit rows.

Upgrading on a CRJ: I'll have to add that to my oxymoron list.
