I always tried to do a little levity with announcements and the music. Even though on the RJ's you were not supposed to take out the CD's with the auto safety announcements and the pre-board music, once during pre-board to TYS, I put on my CD which had Rocky Top on it. The people who lived there absolutely loved it.

That and when I was based at LAX, I would usually announce to folks on flights out of SNA and SAN to SJC that we were going into Hawaii, er San Jose.

Enough to keep smiles on folks to enjoy an RJ flight.
