I need to change about £1,000 into US$. I'm off to the US tomorrow (snow permitting).

Should I:

a) Draw cash from my bank, thus avoiding the cash advance fee, change it at Travelex T4 and pocket 1,000 BAEC miles.

b) Do the exchange at my bank. I've got one of those shiny cards from the LloydsTSB and one thing you get for the £180 a year is "commission free" currency

c) Track down that funny Bank of Bilbao - Raffles, I know there's one in the city, I've got in my head that there's one opposite Harrods too?

d) Just use ATMs in the States.

I don't know the maths, but is the cost per mile at Travelex raesonable or in fact a rip-off? (and that's assuming they'll post!)
