Don't arrive later than the stipulated time in Glasgow airport!!! I was in line a good 20 minutes ahead of the stipulated time. Some friends planning to travel on the same flight, lingered over breakfast at the hotel. They finally arrived about 40 minutes after I did (20 minutes less than the stipulated time). They were denied the opportunity to check in and go on that flight. They were amazed, angry and put out; but they didn't fly with me.

As I have a reputation for getting to airports plenty early and have been teased about it, my friends had some crow to eat that morning!
