Even though most FT members know this, you must store Roll-a-Boards with the wheels out (I cannot count the number of times the F/C cabin bins are full of bags placed in long ways--which is acutally good for me as a late arriving psgr, as a little rearranging usually nets me a space).

That being said, on some A/C (I believe NW DC-9s and others) the bins are deeper on one side of the aisle or the other. Always try both sides if you have the luxury of time and space, before giving up.This is going to sound crazy to some, but try it.
