*ALTHOUGH... from what I gathered dealing with AAdvantage CSR and getting mileage credit, they actually pull up the pax manifest to see if you were on that flight... if you provide the AA flight number, they just might see you on that flight and post it accordingly anyway. Not a proven method, but I might have to do it myself (flew standby on an earlier AS flight, ticketed as AS, even though I was "flying" AA on the earlier flight).
