I asked my travel agent to include my AAdvantage # when booking an Alaska flight for a business trip. Even though it is a code-sharing flight, my agent booked AS because it is easy to choose seat. Here are my questions:
(1) How long will it take for the miles to be posted in my AA account?
(2) How long should I wait before I request miles from AA?
(3) I figured since it is an AS flight (even though AA does code-sharing for that one), I won't be able to request the miles online. I can only mail or fax the itinerary and boarding pass to AA. Am I wrong?
