I work in MCO and find that for the most part the security line is rarely longer than about 20-30 minutes. There is a priority security line, but you have to pay for it. The Clear line costs about $85 a year, and NEVER has a wait. Clear is also being rolled out in San Jose.
As for the AW US counters, AW moved from A side to B side at the time of the AW US merger agreement. It has been a fairly smooth transition over the last couple of months since they moved.
