I applied for a card on December 31 (to beat the 20K bonus deadline) and I got my points a few days ago.

Two complaints: from my online account page at citi, there appears to be no link to the reduced awards page. More importantly, I wanted to use a reduced award for travel in April, but the codes available on that page only go through March.

I called Citi (nice CS rep, but had no clue what I was talking about) and AA (undertoood the problem, and told me to try back in Mid March). Of course, these reduced awards only apply to MilesAAver, which will be completely gone soon for April travel.

Other than that, it's not a bad deal.
