Every Friday in the International Herald Tribune print edition there is a two page section entitled "International Traveler".
This section is usually comprised of three feature articles: "Tables" (this week reporting on 12 memorable Asian meals), "City Guide/Correspondent's Picks" (this week Aix-en-Provence), and the "Ask Roger Collis" column (questions and answers on frequent travel, especially miles and interesting fare combos).
The "Tables" articles are usually very good and list addresses and phone numners for the restaurants mentioned.
The "City Guide/Correspondent's Pick" articles give a quick view of the city plus lots of practical information such as: the buzz, hotels, dining, drinks, culture, festivals, shopping, health, business services, cell phones, laptop repairs and web sites.
Roger Collis has written for the IHT on frequent/business travel for many years. He is the one from whom I originally learned about RTW fares, nested tickets, throw away return flight coupons, etc (this knowledge has greatly expanded thanks to the FT boards).
Today's Q&A column's subject is "Mix or Match? Using Miles on Airline Alliances". Mr. Collis even plugs the Official Frequent Flyer Handbook as "required reading for mileage fans".
These Friday articles are available on line at:

I am cross-posting this article in the MilesBuzz Forum for those who don't yet venture into the Travel Forums.
