Also, trawling this site and the QF one, its not clear what the difference in Biz seats is between the many different a/c types in the QF fleet - is for example the seat on the 738 the same as the 332? Which is better and why? Is any aircaft type good or bad for overhead stowage space in any meaningful way? Is the IFE the same, etc?

Thanks in advance for any help
The only business fare sold on SYD-PER is the J fare.

As far as aircraft go when travelling business class, avoid the 734s since they have cruddy convertible seats

763/738/332 - just as good as each other; they have exactly the same seats

None of these will normally have individual video screens, just video screens on the ceiling/bulkhead or similar

On a lucky day, you might get a 763 and find it is an international aircraft, in which case it has dreamtime seats and a small individual video screen

If you find that there's a 333/747 option ( E.G. QF571 on sunday seems to be a 333 ) , then these are better to take comfort wise. The 743 has the older international business class seat ( dreamtime ) and the 744s and 333s both have the lie flat skybeds

These have individual video screens and laptop power
