Thanks for the advice. After an initial search (Google fan - sorry) I did see that there were a lot of companies offering services. Since I'm not one to judge people by their websites I thought I would ask for direction from some of the people here. It's not like I'm just trying to find a restaurant to have dinner, an airline to take me from point A to point B or a car rental comany. When planning a trip of this nature, it pays to get input from others that have experiences with some of the operators. The downside here is fairly substantial.

When letiole had a trip to Quepos/Manuel Antonio Costa Rica last year she asked a couple of questions in these forums. As a former resident of Quepos, I tried to provide some insight. Thanks to her and stut for the guidance.
