Like Bruce, I belong to the program, but rarely plan a meal around earning the miles. Also like, Bruce, I am sometimes pleasantly surprised to receive miles. That said, I'd probably rather have 20% back--but isn't there a fee for that.

In NYC, I've noticed, flipping through the book, that a lot of the restaurants I would be interested in, do not offer rewards on Fri/Sat nights.

The selection in LA is actually pretty good.

I have also gotten random 2500 and 5000 bonus miles from iDine, so it certainly doesn't hurt to sign yourself up.
