I've jumped at 11,000 feet and I remember that it took us 20 minutes to get to that altitude. I didn't feel any of the sickness that others are talking about. Am I just lucky? Also, while we are talking about this - keep in mind that lots and lots of people sky dive from 10,000+ feet without oxygen all the time. And they are not getting sick, blacking out, etc.
