Gate 1 for me, absolutely, and the fewer people that realise it's there the better. However my pet peeve is that I never know what my gate will be when deciding which lounge to go to, as apparently BA roll some dice at -30 minutes to decide the gate to use and hence can't tell you any earlier. I usually pick the lounge down the wrong end...
