It's late, but if I'm not mistaken, your fare class will project a percentage on your actual flight miles prior to receiving the 2 points per mile.
If you fly in economy on any discount, you will not earn 2 points for each base mile. You will be earning 2 points X 50% or 70% of the base.
When I was presented with my flight options online, the weekend repeat clearly indicated the number of miles i would earn based on that fare choice. Comparing the Weekend repeat to all the other choices, I was getting the full number of miles listed. When I selected the superseat option, you only get an extra 100 points.
