The Boston Globe has
covered this story and notes that in a story last month "passengers who could take advantage of it as well as those who couldn't seemed to be supportive".
They quote one passenger, Tom Heberlein "who was flying coach" as saying:
''The special lanes just entitle you to board faster, which has always been the policy of the airlines for their best customers,'' Heberlein said. ''I don't think it's a bad idea.''
Not that the TSA is going to bother to listen, of course, until the airlines start losing even more money--and probably not even then.
