Referring to legitimately-earned compliments, not "X GA was awesome today, gimme perks", does it help at all to contact UA in regards to a particularly helpful/attentive employee -- does this build any goodwill, either from UA itself or perhaps the employees sorta keep informal track of FFs? I once wrote to a local court complimenting one of the clerks who really did a great job for me; they thanked me and put in in her personnel file. Alas, she was married. . . .
