This is funny.
I was just eating at TGI Friday's at SFO on Monday night and started talking to a Captain (I am a news photographer, he saw my gear and started up a conversation, as it is his hobby). Part way through the conversation the L-1011 got brought up. I am not sure how it came up but I said I missed the L-1011 and the Captain started to say how much he missed the L-1011 as well, he now flies an A320 for another carrier.
What do we do? Go to the RAF, steal a few back which are now flying gas stations, and retrofit them into commerical aircraft with a big blue and red widget on the tail?
