The Adlon is indeed more famous, but not better. Comparable to the Regent (not better or worse) but less private. Service at the Regent should be considerably better, given the new Regent strategy. The Adlon does have a very nice pool, fwiw. I'd pick the Regent without thinking twice about it (but then I'm not a Kempinski fan).
