But I do have the instruments (in fact, exactly 6 e-500s right now). I just don't want to waste 4 of them to UG a 752.
Of course if it comes down to 2A or 25B on a 752, I'll use 4 coupons to stay in front. It's a 1900-mile flight.
Essentially, yes, that is all we can say when you are trying to get around the rules.
This brings up another subject: if this is "getting around the rules" then perhaps I'll just cancel the UG request for SJC-ORD. I'd rather stay within the rules (even if UA doesn't always know what they are).
