Expect the BOS-IAD flight you do select to be delayed several hours and book accordingly.
I find the mainline flights to be very reliable. As reliable as any other IAD mainline flight anyway.
With the BOS-IAD route increases when DH went down (and to compete with B6) there is a bit over half the flights on mainline, and half on RJ's. No exPlus on this route either.
