I am going to FLL on Friday. The flight on which I am currently booked is completely sold out. I want to switch to the last flight of the night (which has M class availability). I am booked in S. I called and was told that it would cost $196 to change. Has anyone ever succeeded in landing a free switch as the flight I am currently on is completely sold out (and probably oversold)?
