Let me clarify something. I asked what to expect at Mark Hopkins as a RA and this is what they told me:
As a Royal Ambassador you are entitled to two room level upgrades, as well as late check out, welcome amentiy, complimentary mini bar beverages, one complimentary movie, and discounted club access (if you are not in a club room).

If you book the most standard/ basic room, you would be upgraded to either a juinor/ studio suite OR have a club room. If you choose to have the suite, you may purchase the club lounge access for $30/ day, a reduced rate from $60.
So if you book the lowest-level room, you can have club OR a junior suite + discounted club access. Your choice.
