Really is my favourite hotel in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
My guess is that they drastically cut back for the winter months. I'm serious when I said we had chips and nuts. But that is okay...you don't go to a hotel for the lounge, albeit it is a nice perk. We were very seldom around in the evening anyway so it didn't matter to us what they had in the lounge anyway. But for sure, we did not have any soups or pizza!

It was nice to be able to grab some water and/or sodas at any time of the day.

After spending a week at the Cavalieri and THEN going to Sorrento, it was an "adjustment," so to speak, but we loved the Amalfi Coast. We enjoyed walking around Sorrento even more than walking around Rome, when it came to window shopping and cafes and restaurants.
