It worked for my wife (and me) AMS-KIX on KL. At the door she stuck out her belly, patted it, and made a pathetic little squeaking noise. We were in the nose of the 747 in about 5 seconds.

I couldn't believe she did it. She hasn't done anything like it since. We're not the kind of people that wheedle like that. I guess almost never. Pregnant women can do strange things.

She lived there a while and claimed the Dutch will always bend over backwards for a pregnant lady. It seemed unlikely to me; but I guess she was right. Next time I'll have her put an extra pillow under her dress.
