As for comparing LGW with AMS or FRA, I have a suspicion that neither of those airport train services sees anything like the pressure on trains that London does. If the Brighton -> London trains are overcrowded at peak times, what chance does the poor jetlagged with 2 bags each weighing 32 kg have?
