Nobody has made any kind of statement remotely similar to calling the guy a "lowly scum silver". We just respect CO for following the rules which CO established. There is nothing "outrageously stupid" about your thought process; I commend your compassion, though there are legitimate counter-arguments to your original premise.
Incidentally, I am not elligible for any upgrades on CO, and though I have written threads stating how I wish CO & DL would change this policy, I have no "sense of entitlement" whatsoever.
