I found Paris and London to be massive dissapointments based on what I expected (prob. because I "built them up" too much in my head).

Places I've unexpectadly absolutely loved:

Bosnia & in particular Sarajevo - Incredibly charming, friendliest people on earth

Boise, Idaho in the USA. From all the jokes the places gets, I expected nothing good at all. I've now concluded that the only reason for the jokes is because not many people have been there
